Robin Gentlewolf gave a wonderful and engaging presentation for students from preschool through 6th grade at St. Paul Elementary. She demonstrated a variety of ancient instruments, in addition to providing historical information about each one. The presentation was interactive and age-appropriate for the students, who found Robin to be both fascinating and approachable. Her inspirational storytelling and beautiful flute playing made a lasting impression on all of us!”

- Rachel Bomalaski Zakaria, Music Teacher & Band Dir. (St. Paul Schools)

"Robin Gentlewolf’s, the Three Oldest Instruments presentation of Native American Flutes for the Benton County Historical Society’s annual “Music at the Museum” series, was mesmerizing.  She engaged the Corvallis Museum audience with beautifully expressive playing, demonstrated a variety of ancient instruments while also providing historical context, personal stories, and technical information on the design and craftmanship unique to Native American Flutes.

As a multiple award-winning musician, and the co-author of accredited university courses that focus on indigenous musical self-expression, Robin Gentlewolf had the ability to engage with the audience not only as an inspiring performer but also through her technical knowledge and generosity of spirit when patiently answering audience member questions. The presentation was beautiful and informative.”
